What will I do on the course?

  • Play in different ensembles

  • Compose my own piece of music

  • Hear my own composition performed live.

  • Develop my singing voice

  • Make new friends

  • Outdoor sports games in the middle of the day.

  • Perform in an informal concert on the last day.

Who are we?

Stamford Orchestra, which is made up of members of the North West’s professional orchestras including the BBC Philharmonic, Hallé, Manchester Camerata and professional freelancers, has raised over £25,000 for charity since being set up by cor anglais player Thomas Davey and oboist Andrew Pettitt in 2015.

The orchestra's home is Altrincham Market House but perform also in other venues in the area.
